The stud farm El Marees, located in the wildlife park Nordeifel, is beautifully situated away from the neighbouring village with a view of the heights of the Eifel.

For 45 years we have been breeding Thoroughbred Arabian horses from classical straight Egyptian bloodlines. Our horses, including the stallions, are kept in an optimal way with daily exercise in vast fields. They spend the nights in boxes with paddocks. The stallions are ridden, too.

Our main stud "M" Sharin is a Multi-Champion,winner of the German Stallion Show, he received a gold ribbon and is acknowledged for all Arabian races. His three-quarters sister
"M" Shalimah, awarded as well, is a direct daughter to Ansata Halim Shah. Bred to Sharin she brought us brilliant foals.

Only recently we could enrich our breed by the purchase of the black stallion HU Shakeil from the USA. He comes from the largest breed of black Arabian horses in the USA, the stud Hughes Arabians. His dam now lives in Japan, his full sister in Bahrein and his sire in the USA at Hughes Arabians.

Visitors are very welcome to get to know the horses, combined with a longer stay at our beautiful farm in one of our holiday-flats if desired.
